Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning

? Develop monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales orders, forecasts, and

capacity.

? Align material availability, manpower, and machine capacity to production schedules.

? Coordinate with Design, Purchase, and Stores to ensure readiness for production.

Material Planning & Control

? Prepare and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for CT/PT manufacturing (core,

copper, resin, hardware, accessories).

? Track inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid line stoppages.

? Minimize excess stock and ensure optimum inventory turns.

Monitoring & Reporting

? Track WIP (Work in Progress) at each stage - core cutting, winding, epoxy casting, assembly,

testing.

? Generate daily/weekly MIS reports on production, material consumption, and delivery

adherence.

? Monitor OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and highlight risks to delivery schedules.

Coordination

? Work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve bottlenecks.

? Liaise with Sales/Marketing for customer delivery commitments and priorities.

? Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by aligning resources and planning pilot runs.

Process Improvement

? Implement Lean PPC practices for better flow and reduced lead times.

? Standardize planning processes using ERP/SAP systems.

? Drive initiatives for cost reduction through efficient planning and utilization.

Key Skills & Competencies:

? Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control in transformer/CT/PT industry.

? Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

? Understanding of CT/PT manufacturing processes (core preparation, winding, casting, assembly,

testing).

? Analytical skills for capacity planning, scheduling, and bottleneck analysis.

? Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

? Education: Diploma/B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Production Engineering or MBA

(Operations).

? Experience: 5-12 years in PPC for electrical equipment manufacturing (transformer/CT/PT

preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
