Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate activities of extrusion line operators and helpers. Monitor extrusion parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) to ensure consistent product quality. Set up, start up, shut down, and change over extrusion machines as required. Ensure raw materials, tooling, and additives are available for production. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Identify and resolve process or equipment issues to minimize downtime. Maintain production reports, shift logs, and material usage records. Implement and enforce safety, housekeeping, and maintenance standards. Train new operators and continuously develop team skills. Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance. Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and waste reduction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Polymer Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in extrusion operations (plastic, rubber, aluminum, or related). Strong technical knowledge of extrusion processes and troubleshooting. Leadership and team management skills. Basic knowledge of ISO / 5S / lean manufacturing principles. Good communication and reporting abilities.

Work Environment:

Factory or production floor environment. Shift-based work (may include night shifts). Requires adherence to PPE and safety standards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
