Salary Range: ₹35,000 - ?40,000 per month (for the most suitable profile)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Leave Policy: 2 days/month as per company policy
Job Summary
SOLCON Industries is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end production operations. The role involves planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, optimal resource utilization, quality compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets
Ensure smooth workflow and optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as required to meet deadlines
Maintain and improve production efficiency, productivity, and cost control
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and company policies
Coordinate with maintenance, stores, quality, and dispatch teams
Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and breakdowns
Maintain production reports, MIS, and daily output records
Train, guide, and supervise production supervisors and shop-floor staff
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Eligibility & Qualifications
Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing/production
Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial production role is mandatory
Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and manpower management

Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations
Ability to meet production targets under tight timelines
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good communication and coordination skills
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
