Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor - Panel Wiring is responsible for supervising daily panel wiring activities, managing technicians, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining quality, safety, and delivery timelines in the control panel shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day
panel wiring activities
(Control panels, MCC, PCC, PLC panels, etc.)
Allocate work to electricians and helpers as per production plan
Ensure wiring is done as per
approved drawings, GA, and schematics
Monitor production schedules and ensure
on-time completion
Maintain
quality standards
and reduce rework
Coordinate with
design, stores, and QC teams
Ensure availability of materials, tools, and manpower
Follow
safety rules and 5S practices
on the shop floor
Maintain daily production reports and manpower records
Support testing and inspection activities before dispatch
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Good knowledge of
LT control panel wiring
Ability to read and understand
electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
Basic knowledge of
components
: MCCB, ACB, MCB, relays, contactors, PLC, VFD, SMPS
Manpower handling and team coordination skills
Basic computer skills (Excel, daily reports)
Understanding of
shop floor discipline and safety
Preferred Candidate Profile:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
1 to 2 years experience in
panel wiring supervision
Hands-on shop floor exposure
Good communication and leadership skills
