Job Description

Production Oversight:

Execute daily production schedules to meet customer demands on time and within budget.

Fabrication Management:

Supervise core processes including metalworking (cutting, bending, welding), machine shop operations, and final assembly of material handling components.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections to ensure all fabricated parts meet geometric dimensions and strict company specifications.

Safety Enforcement:

Implement and audit safety protocols

Resource Allocation:

Manage manpower across various workstations and ensure tools and raw materials are available to minimize downtime.

Continuous Improvement:

Lead Lean Manufacturing or 6S initiatives to optimize workflow and reduce material waste.

Technical Troubleshooting:

Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve equipment failures or complex fabrication issues.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred; high school diploma with 5+ years of extensive experience acceptable.

Experience:

1-2 years in a supervisory role within a metal fabrication or heavy machinery environment.

Technical Proficiency:

Ability to read and interpret complex

blueprints

and CAD drawings. Proficiency in

ERP/MRP systems

for tracking production and inventory. Knowledge of material handling equipment assembly and heavy fabrication techniques.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.

Emerging Skills:

automated production workflows, and predictive maintenance data.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
