Job Description

A Frozen Food Production Supervisor manages daily operations, staff, and quality for frozen food lines, focusing on meeting production targets while enforcing strict food safety (HACCP, GMP), sanitation, and safety protocols, involving scheduling, training, troubleshooting, inventory control, equipment monitoring, documentation, and inter-departmental collaboration to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality output

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring targets are met efficiently. Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and minimal waste. Ensure accurate completion of all production, sanitation, and food safety paperwork.

Staff Leadership & Training:

Supervise, coach, and motivate production line workers. Train staff on SOPs, equipment operation, safety, and quality standards. Manage employee scheduling, performance, and address issues.

Quality & Safety Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to food safety (HACCP, GMP), hygiene, and safety regulations (OSHA). Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products. Lead root cause analysis for quality/safety issues.

Operations & Maintenance:

Troubleshoot production issues and downtime. Ensure proper machine setup, maintenance, and repair requests. Manage material requisition and inventory of ingredients/packaging.

Reporting & Communication:

Analyze production data and prepare daily reports for management. Collaborate with other departments (QA, Maintenance, Supply Chain). Communicate effectively to ensure workflow continuity.
