PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Job location: Ambernath Plant

CANDIDATE CRITERIA

Age Group: Between 23-27 yrs.

B.Sc / MSc (Chemistry)

3-4 yrs. of experience in chemical manufacturing

Experience with continuous/batch processes, and strong familiarity with safety & environmental regulations in India.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality and safety standards, and managing a team of production staff.

Plan and schedule production runs to meet customer demand and production goals, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions to meet quality targets.

Train, mentor, and manage production staff, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.

Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Ensure daily entry of batch data in ERP - NAV. Maintain production logs, incident reports, batch manufacturing records (BMR), etc. Submit weekly/monthly MIS reports to senior management.

Maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with relevant departments for inventory control.

Identify and resolve production issues, collaborating with other departments as needed.

Prepare and maintain accurate production records and reports, communicating performance data to senior management.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and company regulations.

Support internal, external, customer, ISO, and statutory audits with documentation.

Identify training needs and assist HR in designing skill development programs.

Drive cost-saving initiatives, 5S, lean, and energy-saving projects.
