to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our modular kitchen hardware unit. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production flow, maintain quality standards, and manage a team to meet production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for modular kitchen hardware (hinges, drawer systems, channels, handles, etc.).
Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
Allocate manpower and resources effectively across workstations.
Ensure proper machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting with the technical team.
Monitor material usage and coordinate with the store/purchase department for inventory needs.
Implement and maintain 5S, safety, and quality control procedures on the shop floor.
Train and guide operators to improve productivity and minimize waste.
Maintain production records and report daily output, downtime, and efficiency.
Work closely with QA, design, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (preferred).
3-5 years of experience in furniture or modular kitchen hardware manufacturing.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good understanding of production processes, machines, and materials used in hardware manufacturing.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen practices is an advantage.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP software).
