Job Description

Position Overview:



We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented a Food Production Supervisor to manage daily food production activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing processes that meet quality standards and production targets. Key responsibilities include overseeing production workflows and staff, monitoring quality and equipment, enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations like HACCP, managing production schedules, training employees, documenting production data, and resolving issues that arise during shifts.

Key Responsibilities



Manage Production Teams:

Lead and motivate the production staff, including scheduling, guiding, coaching, and disciplining employees to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.

Ensure Quality and Compliance:

Oversee adherence to quality control standards, GMP, and food safety protocols (e.g., HACCP), conducting inspections and audits as needed.

Monitor Operations:

Track and analyze production data, monitor workflow, verify production outputs, and maintain accurate records and reports on shift performance.

Maintain Equipment:

Monitor the condition of production machinery, calling for repairs or maintenance as needed to prevent disruptions.

Manage Resources:

Ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, and control production costs.

Training and Development:

Train new and existing staff on production processes, safety, and quality standards, and handle employee relations issues.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve issues that arise during production to maintain targets and workflow continuity.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit required production reports and keep the facility "audit ready".

Leadership:

Ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team effectively.

Knowledge of Food Production:

Understanding of food manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality standards.

Communication:

Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff, management, and other departments.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues to keep production on track.

Organization & Planning:

Skills in planning production schedules, managing resources, and organizing workflows.

Commitment to Safety:

Deep understanding of GMP, food safety, and health regulations and ability to enforce them.
