Job Summary

:

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, workforce management, and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and excellent team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers.
Ensure production targets are met as per the schedule and quality standards.
Monitor and optimize resource utilization (manpower, machines, materials).
Maintain documentation related to production, quality, and daily reports.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning departments to resolve issues.
Train and motivate workers to improve productivity and reduce rework/rejection.
Ensure strict adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
Analyze production data and suggest improvements to enhance output.

Requirements:

Education:Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.
Experience:3-5 years in a manufacturing/engineering industry, preferably in sheet metal or fabrication.

Technical Exposure:

Hands-on experience working with M.S., S.S., G.I., and structural materials.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing standards.
Familiar with production planning and shop floor control systems.

Skills:*

Strong leadership and people management skills.
Good understanding of production processes, drawings, and quality standards.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and TPM practices.
