Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets are achieved with optimal quality, efficiency, and safety. The role involves supervising shop floor workers, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, and ensuring adherence to production plans and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output and quality goals. Monitor machine performance, manpower deployment, and material availability. Ensure smooth workflow and coordinate between departments such as maintenance, stores, and quality. Maintain production records, shift reports, and process documentation. Implement process improvements to reduce downtime and enhance productivity. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental guidelines on the shop floor. Train and motivate operators and workers for better performance and discipline. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and take corrective actions. Assist in maintaining 5S, ISO, and lean manufacturing practices. Coordinate for preventive maintenance schedules with the maintenance team.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Good understanding of

manufacturing processes, production planning, and machine operations

. Knowledge of

lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM

is preferred. Strong

leadership, problem-solving, and communication

skills. Ability to handle manpower efficiently under pressure. Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, ERP entry). Sound understanding of

quality systems

and

safety norms

.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience Required:

3 to 5 years of experience as a

Production Supervisor

or

Shop Floor In-Charge

in a manufacturing setup.

Salary Range:

?20,000 - ?30,000 per month (depending on experience and company standards).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
