JOB Description :

We are seeking an experienced

Production Supervisor (Machine Shop)

to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in machining operations, hands-on programming experience, and a proven track record of supervising production activities in an aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily production activities in the machine shop to meet quality, delivery, and productivity targets. Plan, schedule, and monitor machining operations to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime. Provide

CNC programming support

(Fanuc/Siemens/other) and troubleshoot machining issues. Ensure adherence to aerospace manufacturing standards, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures. Lead, train, and guide machine operators and technicians for continuous improvement. Coordinate with quality, maintenance, planning, and engineering teams for smooth operations. Implement process improvements, tooling optimization, and lean manufacturing practices. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience

in aerospace production or precision machining companies (Hyderabad experience preferred). Strong knowledge of

CNC machining

, cutting tools, machining parameters, and GD&T.

Hands-on experience in CNC programming

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, aerospace standards, and process plans. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, or other aerospace quality systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
