Job Description

Team Leadership and Supervision:

Lead and supervise production team members, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Collaborate with the production planning department to develop and implement production schedules based on customer demands, inventory levels, and resource availability. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and production targets.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications by implementing and enforcing quality control procedures. Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize defects and improve product quality.

Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities to streamline production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and maximize productivity.

Safety and Compliance:

Promote and enforce workplace safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adherence to safety regulations, and participation in safety training programs. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards in a timely manner.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure adequate supplies for production activities. Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize stock shortages or overages.

Communication and Reporting:

Communicate production goals, objectives, and performance metrics to production team members and management. Prepare regular reports on production output, efficiency, quality metrics, and any issues or challenges encountered.
