You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, managing a team of skilled workers, and driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of production workers, including furniture assemblers, upholsterers, and finishers. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce. Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and accountability. Production Oversight: Plan and organize daily production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines. Monitor production progress and quality standards, making necessary adjustments to ensure product excellence. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and quality control, to streamline operations. Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of furniture craftsmanship. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and rectify defects or deviations from quality benchmarks. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Inventory Management: Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory to prevent shortages and excess stock. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain inventory accuracy. Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and best practices. Investigate and report any workplace incidents or hazards promptly. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain production records, including daily output, quality reports, and employee performance data. Prepare regular reports for senior management on production metrics and KPIs. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in furniture production or manufacturing, with at least [X years] in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. In-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
