The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production line, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. They coordinate with team members, monitor production targets, and ensure safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Plan and organize production schedules in accordance with order deadlines and resource availability.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Train, guide, and motivate production staff to improve productivity and quality.
Maintain safety standards and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production to minimize downtime.
Monitor and control production costs to optimize efficiency.
Prepare and maintain production reports, documentation, and records.
Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, quality control, and maintenance.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in manufacturing.
