Job Description

Supervise day-to-day sheet metal fabrication operations (cutting, bending, punching, welding, forming, assembly). Plan and assign work to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Monitor productivity, efficiency, scrap, and rework; implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and housekeeping standards (5S). Maintain quality standards and ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and tolerances. Coordinate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and planning teams to resolve production issues. Train, coach, and evaluate operators and team leaders. Monitor machine utilization and report equipment or tooling issues to maintenance. Maintain production records, reports, and KPIs (output, downtime, labor efficiency). Support lean manufacturing and cost-reduction initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience. 3-7 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing, with prior supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes, drawings, and measuring instruments. Experience with CNC machines (laser, turret punch, press brake) is an advantage. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and basic computer skills (Excel, reports).
