Job Description

1.Production Management

Plan and execute daily production schedules across all transformer lines (Dry, Solar & Oil).

Supervise winding, core assembly, tanking, oil processing, vacuum drying, and testing processes.

Ensure on-time completion of transformers as per customer and project requirements.

2.Quality & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence of all the process to transformer design specifications, drawings, and quality standards (IS, IEC, BIS, QAP).

Coordinate with Quality Control for in-process inspections and final testing.

Implement

cost reduction projects

through design optimization and material substitution.

Study competitor products and benchmark industry best practices.

3.Team Supervision & Training

Lead and supervise operators, fitters, welders, coil winders, and testing technicians.

Conduct on-the-job training for safe handling of materials (oil, resin, core laminations).

Monitor productivity and resolve shop-floor issues effectively.

4.Reporting & Coordination

Prepare and maintain daily/weekly production reports and WIP (Work in Progress) records.

Coordinate with Planning, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.

Key Skills

Ability to read transformer drawings, BOM, and process sheets.

Leadership & team management skills.

Knowledge of quality standards (IS, IEC, BIS, ISO).

Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in MS Office / ERP systems preferred.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical,

2-5 years of experience in transformer manufacturing (Dry, Solar, and Oil lines preferred).

Required Qualification & Experience:

A degree in Electrical engineering is the main requirement (BE/ B. Tech, Diploma)
