Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers. Ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Allocate tasks to workers and manage workflow on the production floor.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor output to ensure quality standards are met. Address product defects and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain standards.

Team Leadership:

Train, coach, and evaluate production staff. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety. Resolve employee issues or escalate as needed.

Process & Efficiency Improvement:

Recommend and implement improvements to production processes. Monitor machine utilization, minimize downtime, and optimize efficiency. Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Health & Safety:

Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct safety checks and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment. Report and investigate accidents or unsafe practices.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports and downtime logs. Communicate production updates and challenges to management. Participate in daily production meetings.
