Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day operations of the assembly line.
Ensure production targets, schedules, and quality standards are consistently met.
Monitor and optimize assembly processes to minimize downtime and waste.
Allocate manpower effectively across the line based on workload.
Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety protocols.
Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of components.
Conduct regular inspections and testing to maintain product quality.
Train and mentor line workers and operators to enhance skill levels and efficiency.
Identify and troubleshoot issues in assembly processes and take corrective action.
Maintain accurate records of production reports, rejections, and maintenance activities.
Implement 5S, lean manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a pump or small motor assembly line.
Good understanding of mechanical assembly, electrical testing, and quality control.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
Proficient in MS Office and basic production planning tools.
