Job Summary

The Garment Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring timely completion of targets, maintaining quality standards, managing workers, and coordinating with other departments to achieve smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor daily garment production activities on the floor. Allocate work to operators, helpers, and line staff as per production requirements. Ensure production targets are achieved within defined timelines. Maintain quality standards by conducting in-line and end-line inspections. Train and guide workers to improve efficiency and minimize rejections. Ensure adherence to workplace discipline, safety, and compliance standards. Prepare and maintain daily production reports and submit to management. Coordinate with cutting, finishing, and quality control departments for smooth workflow. Identify bottlenecks in production and suggest process improvements. Monitor attendance, productivity, and behavior of workers in the line.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (cutting, stitching, finishing). Ability to handle a team of workers/operators. Good communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of quality standards and compliance in the garment industry. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 12th Pass / Diploma in Textile/Garment Technology (preferred). 2-5 years of experience as a Supervisor in the garment/textile industry. Experience in managing line workers and meeting production deadlines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
