The Production Supervisor (FEMALE) is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production quotas are met safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. This role involves direct management of production staff, resource planning, troubleshooting, and maintaining a high standard of workplace organization and safety.
Key Responsibilities
I. Leadership and Personnel Management
Supervise, motivate, and manage a team of production operators and technicians.
Conduct daily shift briefings, assign tasks, and monitor individual performance.
Provide training, coaching, and disciplinary action as necessary to maintain efficiency and adherence to policy.
Manage shift scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet production goals.
II. Production Operations
Oversee the entire production process to ensure timely completion of daily and weekly production targets.
Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
Ensure all equipment is running optimally and coordinate with the Maintenance Department for necessary repairs or preventative maintenance (PM).
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation .
III. Quality, Safety, and Compliance
Ensure all manufactured products meet established quality control (QC) standards and specifications.
Strictly enforce all company safety regulations and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and promptly address any hazards or risks .
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area (5S methodology experience is a plus).
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics)
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control principles.
Required Skills
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey instructions and reports.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to rapidly resolve production issues.
Technical Proficiency:
Competency in using Visio, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) , Google Sheet is highly desirable.
