Job Purpose

To supervise and control the production of Continuous Transposed Conductors (CTC) ensuring output targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and cost efficiency are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

Supervise day-to-day CTC production activities including

wire preparation, transposition, insulation, compaction, and spooling

Ensure production plans and schedules are met as per dispatch requirements Optimize machine utilization and manpower deployment Monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product quality

Quality Control

Coordinate with Quality Assurance for inspections, testing, and non-conformance resolution Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Safety & Compliance

Enforce

EHS policies

, safety procedures, and good housekeeping (5S) Ensure safe operation of CTC machines and handling of copper/aluminum conductors Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions

Team Management

Supervise operators, technicians, and helpers Train new employees on CTC processes, machines, and safety Evaluate performance and recommend skill development

Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate with maintenance team for

preventive and breakdown maintenance

Ensure minimal downtime of CTC machines Maintain spare parts and tooling readiness

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection data, and efficiency metrics Track raw material consumption and minimize wastage Support audits (internal, customer, ISO)

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

CTC manufacturing processes

Understanding of copper/aluminum conductor properties Ability to read

engineering drawings and technical specifications

Leadership and people management skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / TPM / 5S (preferred)

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in

Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering

Experience

4-10 years

of experience in CTC or transformer conductor manufacturing Prior experience as a

Supervisor or Senior Operator

preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
