To support smooth shop-floor production operations by assisting in
manpower coordination, machine monitoring, quality adherence, and safety compliance
under the guidance of the Senior Supervisor / Production Manager.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support
Assist in monitoring daily production activities during the shift.
Help ensure shift-wise production targets are met.
Monitor machine operations and report breakdowns or abnormalities.
Ensure proper material usage and reduce wastage.
Manpower Coordination
Support allocation of work to operators and helpers.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, and discipline on the shop floor.
Assist in shift handover and workforce deployment.
Quality Assistance
Ensure work is carried out as per SOPs and quality standards.
Identify and report defects, rework, or quality issues.
Coordinate with Quality team during inspections.
Safety & Discipline
Ensure use of PPE and safe work practices.
Report unsafe conditions, near-misses, and incidents.
Follow factory safety rules and instructions.
Reporting
Maintain basic shift records, production data, and checklists.
Report daily status, issues, and observations to Senior Supervisor.
Skills & Competencies
Willingness to learn shop-floor supervision
Basic production and quality understanding
Good communication with workers
Discipline and responsibility
Basic computer knowledge preferred
Qualification
ITI / Diploma / Graduate (Mechanical / Electrical / Production or relevant trade)
Experience
1-2 years
experience in manufacturing / shop-floor operations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
