Goel Enterprises is an independent manufacturing unit in Chandigarh, India. We are specialized in Plastic Injection, Blow Molding and In-house assembly of Farm Equipment's, Automotive Industry for OEM. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production floor. The ideal candidate will ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely during their shift, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Good knowledge automotive or non automotive industry
Good injection moulding machine processing
Good knowledge by reducing cycle time & minimizing down time
PPS preparation/ updating and ensure the running as per PPS, hourly monitoring of production report & component quality on every machine
Close monitoring of planned activities & performance of machinery during shift
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers during the assigned shift in a manufacturing environment.
Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are followed by the production team.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
Collaborate with other shift supervisors and management to optimize production schedules and meet production targets.
Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring availability to meet production demands.
Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the shift.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in production management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
CIPET qualification is mandatory
with at least
2-3 years of experience
Minimum 3 years' experience
as a Production Shift Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
Must be living or willing to relocate to nearby the factory.
Mandatory relevant industry experience
with plastic injection moulding.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Working Hours:
Mon-Sat: 9am-9pm
Salary:
Negotiable based on skill and experience; 18k-25k
