Job Description

Global Banking and Markets Technology group (GBAMT) provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Banking and Markets businesses including Treasury, Trade Finance, Credit, Payments, Transaction Banking, Equities Trading, Prime Brokerage, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. In addition, GBAMT also provides technology solutions across several horizontal functions including Sales, CRM, Electronic Trading, Trade Workflow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client services for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.
GBAMT is engaged in over 800 applications and across the complete spectrum of Application Development and Production Support. GBAMTs type of work and services include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using a wide range of technologies. GBAMT India team is doing extensive work in several regulatory, strategic and initiatives programs. GBAMT has also established a strong partnership with the GBAM operations team in India to deliver automation and functional enhancements to the applications that they are using.

Provide L2 application support for mRP application (strategic message based middleware platform for GWBT apps). Work closely with developers and Liaison to development team Application Manager (AM) for new initiatives/ ongoing BAU projects. Identify gaps with current process / infrastructure / services and collaborate with developers and partner teams to close the gaps.

Responsibilities
Engaged to provide advanced support during major incident resolution (P1 and P2) as necessary
Conduct trend analyses of incidents, problems, and events
Responsible for ensuring corrective actions completed
Provide workarounds and potential solutions
Provide application support, training, consultation to Level 2
Ensure application support documentation current (Control Plans, Technical Recovery Plan)
Continually improve monitoring and alerting
Conduct capacity and performance reviews with key partners (e.g., TI, L3 ADS)
Gather and report application metrics
Provide final approval during Permit-to-Operate tollgates and ensure Production Support readiness
Review and provide final approval for all production change
Works with AM to schedule maintenance updates such as patches for firmware, OS, and software
Performs business continuity testing and site-to-site failovers, LDRPS updates, etc.
Ensures all production support related evidence and QA deliverables are completed
Supports AM during audits to provide all production support related deliverables
Experience in end-user/application support in a 24x7 environment will be an advantage

Requirements
Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications If Any: NA
Experience Range: 4 to 6 years
Foundational skills:
Technical knowledge on at least two of the following:
Message Broker with Java development aspects (Mandatory)
IBM Websphere MB: Development aspects (Mandatory)
IBM Websphere MQ aspects (Mandatory)
IBM Websphere Datapower
DB2 / Oracle
Mulesoft
Mainframe JCLs / Linux Shell scripting
COBOL and navigating through mainframe console.
Websphere Application Server
Good insight into XLST and XML
Desired skills:
Business / Functional knowledge of payment flows & corporate banking. Messaging standards used by EMEA & APAC regions such as Swift, PACS, IFX formats.
