Kubernetes admin skills [preferably Oracle Kubernetes]
As a Kubernetes administrator some of the responsibilities will involve designing and implementing solutions to leverage a Kubernetes cluster, configuring hardware, peripherals, services, managing settings and storage, deploying cloud-native applications, and monitoring and supporting a Kubernetes environment.

FMW skills:

• Oracle FUSION WebLogic Software installation and Maintenance (11.x, 12.x versions)
• Installing WebLogic patches, service packs etc.
• WebLogic Application server administration.
• Performance monitoring and tuning - Basic
• Carrying out Thread Dump Analysis, Heap dump analysis etc.
• Configuring of LDAP and Security realms - Basic
• Developing automation scripts.
• Applying utilities like WebLogic-admin, WebLogic-deployer etc.
• Integrating with HTTP servers.

Troubleshooting of JAR, EAR, WAR etc.

JBOSS/ Tomcat /IIS skills:

• Provide real-time technical support for environments and supported applications and technologies on redhat Jboss, Apache Tomcat and Webserver.

• Installation, Configuration, troubleshooting, advance configuration of Jboss, Apache Tomcat webserver in windows and UNIX operating systems

• Setting up Application Server HTTP Server and Setting up clusters of various sizes4 Administration of application server and webservers including installation, configuration, security and monitoring

• Strong hands-on experience on IIS servers HTML, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, Service-Oriented Architecture
• Exposure in configuring and troubleshooting virtual directory / application pool
• Manage multiple sites, IIS performance Tuning
• Hands on experience on SSL configuration / administration scripts and Authentication modes
• Exposure to COM and ASP NET framework and command line admin scripts6 Experience in Cluster, Load balancer distribution session, Firewall7 IIS troubleshooting

• 8+ years of relevant experience primarily in DevOps, Cloud & Containerization.

• 8+years of experience administering Kubernetes, and understanding of manifest management with Helm

• Years of Linux systems administrator experience or equivalent skills

• 8+ years of experience with CICD pipelines and related tools e.g. Jenkins is necessary.

• 8+years of experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet. Strong preference for Ansible.

• Years of experience with OCI and any other major cloud providers.

• Expertise in deploying at scale various containerized web and data applications and services using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OKS, Grafana, Prometheus monitoring solutions etc.

• Strong working experience with different OCI Services like Compute, IDCS federation, DBaaS, Object storage, block storage, File storage, VCN management.

• Strong experience with automating multiple systems using Bash, and languages such as Python, and Go

• Extensive experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.

• Ability to architect and implement end-to-end container management using Kubernetes

• Architect and design the setup and configuration of CICD pipelines and support, resolve technical complexities to integrate various DevOps practices as part of a CICD implementation

• Recommend and implement automated means that will improve the performance and reliability of the system

• Strong communication skills across the board, with a passion for finding and sharing best practices and driving greater discipline.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Foster collaboration with software product development, architecture, and IT teams to ensure releases are delivered with repeatable and audit-able processes

• Contribute to DevOps Platform architecture and influence DevOps roadmap: application and infrastructure planning, testing and development.

• Work closely with product teams to find the right trade-off between the business-specific needs and state-of-the-art CICD best practices.

• Execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely. Provide solutions to increase visualization, reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.

• Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments

• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of Trimble Transportations continuous integration environments

• Design and architect solutions for existing client facing applications as they are moved into cloud environments.

• Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments

• Guide the evolution of our cloud infrastructure

• Improve the availability, scalability, and performance of the cloud environments
