RIK Industries Private Limited is a well-established furniture manufacturer operating the e-commerce brand ABOUT SPACE with significant impact as an e-commerce seller.

We are looking for a dedicated

Quality Supervisor

to ensure that all furniture products meet company standards before delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of furniture materials, workmanship, and finishing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect in-process and finished furniture for defects, measurements, finishing, and durability. Monitor quality at every stage--cutting, machining, assembly, upholstery, polishing, and final inspection. Ensure adherence to quality standards for wood, MDF, plywood, hardware, hinges, and joinery. Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrections. Maintain QC checklists, inspection reports, and quality documentation. Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of finished goods. Train workers and incharge on quality requirements and best practices. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce defects. Work closely with packing and dispatch teams to ensure only quality-approved items are sent out.

Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Production / Furniture Technology OR relevant experience. 3-7+ years of quality experience in

wood or modular furniture manufacturing

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing (wood, plywood, MDF, laminate, veneer). Understanding of joinery, hardware, upholstery, polishing, and assembly. Ability to identify defects quickly and implement corrective actions. Good documentation and report-making skills. Leadership ability to guide QC staff and coordinate with production.
