Job Description

Mechpro Engineering Works is a leading manufacturer and fabricator serving industries such as refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, and heavy engineering. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Quality Assistant Supervisor to support our quality control operations and ensure products meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Quality Supervisor in planning, monitoring, and executing quality control processes in production. Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Coordinate with production teams to identify defects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Ensure adherence to company quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Assist in training production staff on quality standards and procedures. Support in preparing documentation for client inspections, audits, and certifications. Report quality issues to management and recommend process improvements.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or related field). 1-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing or fabrication. Knowledge of quality inspection techniques, measurement tools, and industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.). Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in metal fabrication, pressure vessels, or structural manufacturing. Familiarity with welding inspection and dimensional checks.
