Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control:

Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for all production stages, from raw materials to finished products. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production lines to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. Create and maintain detailed documentation of quality tests, results, and corrective actions.

Problem Solving & Corrective Action:

Investigate and troubleshoot quality defects, non-conformities, and customer complaints. Work with production teams to determine the root cause of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality problems.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste. Utilize tools and methodologies like

Lean Manufacturing

and

Six Sigma

to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Introduce and train staff on new quality control techniques and equipment.

Supplier & Material Management:

Inspect incoming raw materials (e.g., aluminum profiles, glass, hardware) to ensure they meet quality standards. Work with suppliers to address quality issues and improve the quality of incoming materials.

Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to windows, facades, or similar construction products.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of quality control standards, such as ISO 9001. Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, FMEA). Familiarity with materials used in window and facade production (e.g., aluminum, PVC, glass). Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, perform visual inspections, and navigate a factory environment.
