Roles & ResponsibilitiesQuality Control (QC) Responsibilities
Define material group-wise QC parameters for all product categories.
Ensure 100% inspection of all incoming materials and customer-returned products as per QC checklist.
Maintain inspection history sheets, test logs, and QC reports for traceability.
Coordinate with vendors for rejection handling, feedback, and corrective actions.
Conduct vendor site inspections to assess technical capability of new suppliers.
Address customer complaints regarding product defects, usage, or quality issues and propose solutions.
Provide technical support to sales team for product specifications and usage queries.
Production Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities (toner & ink filling, calibration, machine setup, and operation).
Prepare
SOPs and operation manuals
for production processes.
Train operators on best practices, machine handling, and productivity improvement.
Monitor production process flow, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements for efficiency.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on the shop floor.
Coordinate with planning and dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution.
Maintain daily production reports and resource utilization logs.
Cross-Functional Responsibilities
Act as a key quality gatekeeper across the supply chain (raw material ? production ? final packing).
Support vendor negotiations by providing technical insights on product quality and feasibility.
Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and independently resolve technical issues.
Requirements & Skills
Diploma/Degree in
Mechanical / Electronics / Printing Technology
or equivalent.
2-4 years' experience as
Quality Engineer / Production Executive
in
digital printing, imaging, or similar manufacturing industry
.
Strong understanding of
QC techniques, production workflows, and technical documentation
.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Team management and training ability.
Great attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Certification in
Quality Assurance / Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing
is an added advantage.
