: To lead and manage all plant-level operations including production planning, execution, manpower supervision, quality compliance, safety, and inter-departmental coordination, ensuring output targets are met within time, cost, and quality parameters.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand and resource availability.
2. Monitor shift-wise production performance, machine utilization, and workforce productivity to achieve output targets.
3. Ensure process adherence, first-piece approval, and in-process quality compliance in coordination with the QC team.
4. Coordinate with Planning, Store, Quality, Maintenance, and HR departments for smooth plant functioning.
5. Implement 5S, workplace discipline, and safety measures across all shop floor areas.
6. Track and control rejections, rework, downtime, and material wastage to improve overall plant efficiency.
7. Analyze production reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity and cost.
8. Supervise and guide production supervisors, operators, and support staff; conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
9. Ensure readiness for audits, customer visits, and management reviews through proper documentation and factory upkeep.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Electronics / Mechanical/Electrical / Industrial Engineering or B.Sc. (Tech); Diploma in Production/Operations preferred
Experience:
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in handling assembly line plant operations, Electronics knoa how, team management, and production planning in a manufacturing setup.
