Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Scheduling

Prepare weekly/monthly production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts Create capacity plans and machine loading schedules to maximize efficiency Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for material planning (MRP) and availability as per BOM Monitor daily production vs plan and ensure timely corrective actions

Coordination & Execution

Coordinate with Production, Purchase, QA/QC, Design, and Maintenance to ensure smooth execution Prioritize urgent orders and manage re-scheduling when required Review WIP status, line balancing, and workflow to avoid bottlenecks Support dispatch planning to achieve OTIF (On-Time In Full) deliveries

Monitoring, Control & Reporting

Maintain daily production reports (DPR), WIP tracking, and output records Analyze Target vs Achievement and present improvement actions Support improvement in OEE, cycle time, and lead time Prepare MIS reports for management review

Inventory & Process Control

Control Raw Material, WIP, and Finished Goods inventory with minimum variance Implement Lean, 5S, FIFO, Kanban, and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) practices on shop floor Support scrap, rework, and rejection reduction initiatives

Key Skills & Competencies:

Production planning, scheduling & MRP knowledge Strong analytical and coordination skills ERP / SAP / Advanced Excel working knowledge Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, JIT, FIFO) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech - Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering Relevant experience: 2-10 years in manufacturing (based on level - Executive/Engineer/Manager)

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

OTIF (On Time In Full Delivery) Production Achievement vs Target Inventory Turnover & WIP Control Rejection & Rework % Machine Utilization / OEE Lead Time & Productivity Improvement

Work Environment:

Shop-floor and office co-ordination role Cross-functional working with Production, Stores, Quality, Purchase, and Dispatch teams
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
