JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PPC & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT INCHARGE:

JOB SUMMARY: -

We are looking for detail oriented and Experience PPC (Production Planning & Control) and Inventory Management In-Charge to manage & overseeing the planning, scheduling, and control of production activities and inventory levels to ensure efficient material flow and timely project completion. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in inventory management principles and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Scheduling:

Developing and maintaining production plans and schedules based on project requirements, material availability, and resource constraints.

Inventory Management:

Managing inventory levels of construction materials (raw materials, finished goods, etc.), optimizing stock levels to minimize shortages and excess inventory.

Production Monitoring:

Tracking production progress against schedules, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal production flow.

Cost Control:

Managing material costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing resource utilization to achieve cost-effective production.

Inventory Control:

Implementing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Quality Control:

Ensuring materials meet quality standards and collaborating with quality control teams to address any issues.

Reporting & Analysis:

Generating reports on production performance, inventory levels, and cost analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

:

Strong organizational and time management skills:

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and collaborate effectively.

Proficiency in inventory management software:

Experience with inventory management systems and software is essential.

Knowledge of production planning and control principles:

Understanding of production planning methodologies, scheduling techniques, and inventory control strategies.

Problem-solving skills:

Ability to identify and resolve issues related to material shortages, production delays, and inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree:

A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is usually required.

MBA (Preferred):

An MBA can be an advantage, particularly for roles involving strategic planning and management.

Experience:

Production Planning/Inventory Management:

5+ years of experience in production planning or a similar role is often sought.

Manufacturing/Logistics:

Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is highly valued.

ERP Systems:

Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP is crucial for managing production and inventory.

Tally and MS Office - Excel Expert.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?90,000.00 per month
