+ 1. Planning, scheduling and co-ordinating production of the company's products.
+ 2. Raw material planning.
+ 3. Subcontracting of jobs.
+ 4. Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management.
+ 5. Handling production disruptions and productivity problems.
+ 6. Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
