Job Description

Role Overview

This role focuses on end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring alignment between mining output and processing capacity to meet project KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly

production plans and schedules. Coordinate between

mine, plant, and logistics

teams to balance ore flow. Track production KPIs (tonnage, grade, recovery, downtime) and identify bottlenecks. Optimise manpower, machinery, and material movement for maximum productivity. Ensure production targets are met with cost, quality, and safety controls. Implement continuous improvement initiatives for throughput and reliability. Report production performance and variances to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Degree in

Mining / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering

(or relevant discipline). 8-18 years in mining, minerals, or heavy industry production roles. Strong planning, coordination, and reporting skills with KPI ownership. Experience in large-scale operations and multi-department coordination preferred. Exposure to ERP / production tracking systems is a plus.
