Job Description

The Production Planner (Machine Production Analysis) is responsible for planning, scheduling, and optimizing machine-based production activities to ensure efficient workflow, maximum equipment utilization, and on-time delivery of products. This role analyzes machine capacity, production data, and resource requirements to create accurate schedules and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Scheduling

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer demand, available capacity, and material readiness. Analyze machine capacity and load to allocate work efficiently and avoid bottlenecks. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure schedules are realistic and achievable. Monitor and adjust schedules based on changing priorities, machine downtime, or material shortages.

Machine Production Analysis

Review machine performance data (cycle times, setup times, downtime) to improve scheduling accuracy. Conduct root-cause analysis for delays and inefficiencies related to machine operations. Identify opportunities to increase machine utilization and reduce idle time. Work with maintenance teams to incorporate preventive maintenance windows into schedules with minimal impact.
