Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Supervision

Monitor and supervise daily spice production activities. Ensure production targets are met as per schedules. Allocate manpower and manage shift-wise production planning. Ensure proper usage of raw materials to minimize wastage. Maintain production efficiency and improve productivity levels.
Packing & Quality Control

Oversee packing operations to ensure correct quantity, labeling, and sealing. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP). Conduct regular quality checks during production and packing processes. Identify and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
Team Management

Lead and supervise production and packing staff. Train workers on SOPs, hygiene practices, and machine handling. Maintain staff discipline and productivity. Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance.
Equipment & Maintenance

Ensure proper functioning of production and packing machines. Coordinate with maintenance team for machine servicing and breakdown resolution. Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.
Inventory & Documentation

Maintain records of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials. Ensure accurate production reports and daily logs. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store department for replenishment.
Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to safety norms and hygiene standards. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies. Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Food Technology, Production Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in spices production or FMCG manufacturing. Knowledge of spice processing, blending, grinding, and packaging techniques. Familiarity with quality standards and food safety regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
