Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Operator to join our team and support the Glass printing and dispatch process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations related to the production, quality control, and packaging of custom glass products, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Glass Printing Operations:

Operate and monitor equipment used for printing designs on glass (single colour/full colour).

Clean, align, and prepare glass before printing.

Load and adjust artwork/designs into the printer software.

Ensure high precision and quality in output as per client specifications.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished glasses for clarity, alignment, and color accuracy.

Flag and report any defects or deviations from standards.

Maintain clean and dust-free printing environments to ensure print quality.

Packaging & Dispatch:

Label, package, and safely handle glasses for shipping.

Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch.

Maintain records of shipments and update dispatch logs.

Inventory & Maintenance:

Track and manage raw material stock (glass blanks, inks, films, etc.).

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.

Ensure proper storage of finished and semi-finished goods.

Safety & Reporting:

Follow company safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Report equipment issues or material shortages to the supervisor promptly.

Document production counts, errors, and time logs.

Requirements:

Minimum 10th / 12th pass; ITI or Diploma in EEE/ECE or Printing/Manufacturing is a plus.

1+ year of experience in a production/printing environment preferred.

Basic computer knowledge (for file handling and printer operation).

Attention to detail and ability to work with delicate materials.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Good physical condition (some lifting/standing may be required).
