The Production & Operations Lead is responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing process of Dascen products. This includes chemical mixing, bottling, labeling, and maintaining precise inventory records to ensure zero stock-outs and zero quality defects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Formulation:
Follow the company's chemical formulations to mix batches for floor cleaner, dishwash, laundry liquid, etc.
Ensure consistency in color, thickness (viscosity), and fragrance across all batches.
2. Packaging & Labeling:
Oversee and perform the bottle-filling process to ensure the correct volume (e.g., 500ml, 1L, 5L).
Ensure labels are applied straight, without bubbles, and are clean.
Manage batch printing (MRP, Batch No, and Expiry Date) on every bottle/box.
3. Quality Control:
Conduct leak tests on caps and seals before the product leaves the unit.
Inspect raw materials (chemicals, empty bottles, caps) upon arrival for any defects.
4. Documentation & Record Keeping:
o Raw Material Register:
Log all incoming chemicals and packaging materials.
o Finished Goods (FG) Register:
Maintain a daily record of how many bottles were produced vs. how many were dispatched.
o Batch Records:
Maintain a logbook for every batch mixed for future reference.
5. Inventory & Dispatch:
Organize the warehouse for easy access to stock.
Prepare orders for the Sales Executive or delivery team.
Alert the management when raw material stock reaches the "Reorder Level."
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience
: 1-2 years in a small-scale manufacturing unit (FMCG, Pharma, or Chemicals preferred).
Education:
Minimum 12th Pass or Diploma.
Skills:
Ability to read and follow precise formulas.
Basic math skills for calculating quantities and maintaining registers.
Physical fitness for handling stock and machinery.
Traits:
Extremely organized, detail-oriented (hates messy labels), and honest with inventory numbers.
Working Conditions:
This is an on-site role at the production facility.
Must follow all safety protocols, including wearing gloves, masks, and aprons when handling chemicals
