Job Description

A Production Officer in sterile injectables is responsible for overseeing and managing the manufacturing process of sterile injectable medications, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Supervising Production:

Overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations of sterile injectable products, including formulation, filling, and packaging.

Ensuring Quality and Compliance:

Maintaining strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), WHO guidelines, and other relevant regulatory standards.

Maintaining Sterile Environment:

Ensuring the aseptic environment is properly maintained, monitored, and controlled throughout the manufacturing process. Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in sterile injectable manufacturing.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, equipment used in injectable manufacturing, and GMP guidelines.

Education:

A degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm) or a related field is often preferred.
