Production Officer

in a pharmaceutical company is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining production efficiency. Here's an overview of the role:

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Operations:

Supervise and coordinate production activities. Ensure that all processes adhere to

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

and

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

. Monitor batch production records and maintain proper documentation.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with

FDA, WHO, GMP, and ISO

regulations. Perform in-process quality checks. Address deviations, change controls, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

Optimize production workflow for better efficiency. Reduce waste and minimize production downtime. Implement new technologies or processes for improved output.

Team Management:

Train and supervise production staff. Ensure safety protocols are followed. Assign tasks and monitor performance.

Inventory & Resource Management:

Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory. Coordinate with the

warehouse, QA, and R&D departments

Qualification: M.sc or B.pharma
