Job Description

Oversee daily production activities including tablet, capsule, syrup, or injectable manufacturing. Ensure adherence to batch manufacturing records (BMR) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain compliance with

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

and

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

. Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams for in-process checks and validations. Prepare and maintain accurate production records, logbooks, and deviation reports. Ensure timely documentation for audits and regulatory inspections. Monitor and operate production equipment like granulators, blenders, tablet presses, and coating machines. Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration of machinery. Supervise and train production staff and operators. Allocate tasks and ensure safety and hygiene protocols are followed. Coordinate with the warehouse for raw material and packaging material availability. Minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization. Prepare for internal and external audits (e.g., USFDA, WHO-GMP, MHRA). Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.
