Key ResponsibilitiesA. Production Planning & Execution

Execute daily/weekly production plans as per schedule. Monitor production flow, machine performance, and resource utilization. Ensure achievement of production targets (quantity, quality, and efficiency).

B. Process Monitoring & Control

Maintain process parameters and ensure adherence to SOPs. Identify process deviations and take corrective action. Optimize production cycles, reduce idle time, and improve throughput.

C. Quality Assurance

Ensure products meet quality specifications at every stage of production. Coordinate with QC/QA to address quality issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.

D. Manpower & Shift Management

Supervise shift operators, technicians, and helpers. Ensure proper shift handover and maintain shift logs. Conduct on-job training for operators and maintain discipline on the shop floor.

E. Safety & Compliance

Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage. Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and risk assessments. Adhere to regulatory compliances of the plant.

F. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain production records: shift reports, downtime logs, consumption, and waste data. Report breakdowns and abnormalities to maintenance teams. Support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.

G. Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements for productivity, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Support 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and other improvement programs.

3. QualificationsEducation

Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

Experience

1-5 years experience in a production/manufacturing environment. Experience in shift handling is preferred. Exposure to new plant startup is an added advantage.

Skills Required

Knowledge of production processes, plant equipment, and SOPs. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Good communication and team-handling skills. Understanding of safety, quality systems, and lean concepts.
