Role Overview:

Production Merchandiser

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient

Production Merchandiser

to oversee and manage the complete production lifecycle--from sampling to final dispatch. This role is essential to ensuring timely execution of production orders while maintaining quality standards, vendor coordination, and smooth internal communication.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Coordination:

? Manage and monitor the production calendar to ensure timely execution of orders
? Coordinate closely with vendors, tailors, and suppliers to streamline workflow
? Maintain daily production trackers and communicate updates to internal teams

Material Sourcing & Inventory Control:

? Source required fabrics, trims, and materials based on designer requirements
? Ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials
? Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and store teams for stock movement

Sampling & Quality Assurance

:
? Oversee sampling process and follow up on timely approvals
? Conduct periodic quality checks during various production stages
? Ensure final products align with approved samples and technical specifications

Vendor Management:

? Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and local artisans
? Resolve production bottlenecks or delays through effective communication
? Negotiate timelines and ensure adherence to agreed delivery schedules

Documentation & Dispatch

:
? Ensure all documentation, billing, and order sheets are updated and accurate
? Coordinate with the logistics team for timely dispatch of goods to stores or clients
? Maintain proper records of all production orders, samples, and approvals

Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

? At least 2 years of experience in production merchandising within fashion or apparel industry
? Knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and production timelines
? Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic documentation
? Ability to multitask and manage production pressures effectively
? Strong communication skills for coordination with vendors and internal teams
? Based in or willing to work from Ghitorni, New Delhi
? Immediate joiner preferred

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹504,000.00 per year
