Role Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end production operations in the injection moulding division. The role demands strong leadership, process discipline, team management, and expertise in achieving production KPIs such as OEE, PPM, rejection control, and productivity improvement.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs1. Production Planning & Execution

Prepare and execute daily, weekly & monthly production plans as per sales / customer demand. Ensure plan vs actual achievement and identify gaps with corrective measures. Optimize machine utilization and improve yield.

2. Process & Quality Control

Monitor process parameters to ensure defect-free production. Ensure adherence to QMS, CSR documents, process sheets, WI & control plans. Conduct internal rejection & customer PPM analysis and drive reduction initiatives.

3. Cost & Efficiency Management

Drive OEE improvement across all moulding machines. Manage cost reduction projects, material reconciliation, and waste elimination. Conduct inventory rejection analysis and take corrective actions.

4. Team Leadership & Development

Lead, train and develop supervisors, engineers & operators. Conduct performance review, skill-matrix planning, and manpower allocation. Ensure discipline, shift planning and support manpower optimization.

5. Continuous Improvement

Champion Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED initiatives. Implement process upgrades, root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA. Drive audit findings closure (Internal, Customer, IATF).

6. Customer & Audit Management

Handle customer-specific quality issues and ensure timely resolution. Support customer visits, audits, and documentation readiness. Maintain all IATF and ISO-related production documentation.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes & troubleshooting Proficient in OEE, cycle time optimization, and productivity improvement Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Good analytical skills using 7QC tools Strong communication and leadership skills Exposure to SAP / ERP systems Ability to handle manpower and cross-functional coordination
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹170,000.00 per month
