Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations Oversight:

Oversee daily production operations, including batch processing, scheduling, equipment functionality, and coordination of the production workforce. Ensure smooth execution of production plans and timely completion of manufacturing targets.

Quality Assurance & Product Standards:

Ensure all resin products meet both internal quality benchmarks and external customer specifications. Manage testing protocols and collaborate closely with the QA/QC team to address deviations or issues.

Process Optimization & Cost Efficiency:

Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs without compromising quality. Utilize lean manufacturing principles and process data for decision-making.

Team Leadership & Training:

Manage, train, and mentor production staff and operators. Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational discipline on the shop floor.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the R&D and Technical Services teams to develop new resin grades, support customer-specific requirements, and resolve technical issues in production.

Regulatory & Safety Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including ISO and environmental guidelines. Enforce health and safety standards rigorously in the resin production area.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate production logs, quality reports, incident reports, and KPI dashboards. Provide data for internal analysis, management reporting, and external audits as required.

Requirements:

Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc in Polymer/Chemistry or related field.

Experience:

For Production Manager-

8-10 years of experience in resin or chemical manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

For Production Executive / Officer- 1-5 years of

experience in resin manufacturing.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in resin manufacturing processes (alkyds, acrylics, polyesters, etc.) Strong knowledge of batch processing systems, chemical plant equipment, and safety protocols. Experience working with ISO and regulatory compliance frameworks.
