Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
Manage daily production activities to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality output.
Monitor workflows and optimize machine utilization and manpower deployment.
Ensure production targets are consistently achieved.
Staff Supervision & Leadership
Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to enhance skills and productivity.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
Quality Control
Ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.
Identify defects, implement corrective measures, and maintain high craftsmanship standards.
Process Improvement
Continuously assess and improve production workflows.
Reduce downtime, material wastage, and process inefficiencies.
Scheduling & Resource Allocation
Prepare and manage production schedules.
Allocate resources (manpower, materials, machinery) effectively to meet deadlines.
Health & Safety Compliance
Enforce compliance with health and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure accident-free operations.
Inventory & Material Management
Oversee raw material planning and stock management.
Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of resources.
Dispatch & Logistics
Plan and oversee the
dispatch process
, ensuring finished products are properly packed, labeled, and documented.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Maintain dispatch records, including invoices, delivery notes, and transport schedules.
Work with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and handling of goods before shipment.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor production KPIs such as output, efficiency, downtime, and defect rates.
Submit regular performance and dispatch reports to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in production supervisory/managerial roles, preferably in
furniture manufacturing
.
Leadership:
Strong team management and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Communication:
Effective verbal and written communication with staff, management, and external partners.
Organization:
Strong organizational, multitasking, and planning skills.
Education:
