Title: Production Manager - Fabrication & Assembly Shop

Location: Sawardari, Chakan Phase -2

Qualifications:

? Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical/Production Engineering.

? 6-10 years' experience in fabrication & assembly shop management (preferably

conveyors/heavy fabrication).

? Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.

? Knowledge of welding, fabrication techniques, quality standards, and ERP tools.

Job Summary:

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all

activities in the fabrication and assembly sections of the conveyor manufacturing unit. This

includes managing manpower, ensuring production targets are met on time, maintaining

quality standards, optimizing resources, and implementing continuous improvement

measures.

Key Responsibilities:

? Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production schedules.

? Ensure timely availability of materials, drawings, and manpower.

? Monitor shop floor activities, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to SOPs and

safety norms.

? Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for smooth workflow.

? Maintain quality standards, minimize rework/rejections, and support inspections.

? Manage manpower allocation, machine maintenance, and consumables usage.

? Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

? Track KPIs: on-time delivery, quality acceptance, efficiency, wastage, safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
