Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our solid wood furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will oversee production planning, workflow optimization, team management, quality control, and on-time delivery of handcrafted furniture and decor pieces.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production targets for cutting, joinery, sanding, finishing, and assembly sections. Supervise a team of carpenters, polishers, and helpers; ensure productivity, safety, and discipline on the shop floor. Optimize wood usage, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and machinery. Maintain quality standards across all products -- from raw material inspection to final packaging. Coordinate with design, purchase, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth flow of materials and timely deliveries. Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports: production output, rework, and material consumption. Troubleshoot technical and manpower issues promptly to avoid downtime. Support new product development and prototype trials.
