Job Description

Plan, organize, and manage fabric production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Develop and monitor production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of machines and manpower. Coordinate with planning, sourcing, and maintenance teams to ensure material and equipment readiness.

2. Process Management

Supervise the complete production process -- spinning, weaving/knitting, dyeing, finishing, and inspection (depending on the mill type). Ensure adherence to process parameters, technical specifications, and buyer requirements. Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and other process improvement techniques to reduce waste and downtime.

3. Quality & Compliance

Work closely with the quality control team to maintain product standards and resolve quality issues promptly. Ensure production meets ISO, OEKO-TEX, and other industry certifications as required. Conduct regular audits of process control, machine calibration, and operator performance.

4. Team Management

Supervise and train production supervisors, operators, and technical staff. Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

5. Cost & Efficiency

Monitor production costs, material wastage, and machine efficiency (OEE). Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. Analyze production data and generate reports for management decision-making.

6. Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with R&D, planning, maintenance, and merchandising teams for smooth order execution. Prepare daily and monthly production reports and present to senior management. Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials and consumables.
